It Takes A Village - Art Print
“It Takes A Village”
The importance of community played a crucial role in creating this small ceramic village.
Driven by a quest for knowledge and experience, I, along with two other potters from PEI, journeyed across land and sea to Newfoundland, Canada. To participate in a forage & fire workshop hosted by Wild Cove Pottery in Port Union. Together, we foraged and processed local materials for glazing, along with assisting each other in firing the kiln, a process that took 21-hours.
This little village serves as a testament to what can be achieved when we unite for a shared purpose. This experience has motivated me to invite Michael Flaherty, the owner and artist of Wild Cove Pottery, to come to Prince Edward Island to help us construct a community wood-fired kiln.
100% of the proceeds go towards the expenses of building a wood-kiln on PEI.
5” x 7” Art Print - Numbered - Signed - Certificate Authenticity
